Kappa Alpha Psi Celebrates 100 Years
Today, we celebrate the vision of the founders of ten years, which recognized the need for men to cancel college vestiges of racial discrimination at Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana, which reflects the community whole in Indiana and across the country in general. Our founders recognized not only the majority population indifference to the needs of African-Americans, but had the foresight to take action to do something. Therefore decided Elder Watson Diggs, and nine other students from Indiana University in Bloomington to join forces to expand their social opportunities, professional and economic. Thus, they founded a college fraternity, by their peers at Howard University, Alpha Phi Alpha fraternity and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority.
